My Super Internationally Cultured Friends

When we were in high school, my friends and I usually talk about our future plans after we graduate from college. Most of us wanted to tour around the globe and we even had enthusiastic plans of going together.

Now, we are busy with work and we barely get to see each other. Until now, we haven’t realized our dreams of going for a tour since we all have busy schedules. Thus, we just hang around and treat ourselves to different restaurants that feature foreign dishes. Sometimes we go to Chinese, Thai, and Spanish restaurants. Last weekend, we just went to a Japanese restaurant and one of us also used a Japanese Art handbag. Well, I apologized to her that time because I really did not like her bag. Yes, it was colorful with mountains and cherry blossom trees, but I didn’t think it was suitable. Moreover, it didn’t suggest a good structure.

Surprisingly, it was not only me who disliked her bag but most of us actually did. Well, good thing she was able to accept it and said she probably wouldn’t wear it again.

My Dad’s Memorable Dockers Collection

My late dad was a fond collector of Dockers clothing. During my 3-week vacation in our hometown to celebrate my dad’s first year death anniversary, I gave away some of his items that can still be used by some of our relatives. In our culture, we let a year pass first before giving out the clothing and items of the dead. It was hard letting go of those important memories of Dad, But I had to. I gave some of his Dockers pants to his four brothers and his Dockers T-shirts to a few close relatives. They were very happy upon receiving them. My mom and other siblings told me it was better that way; at least our relatives could still make use of the items Dad left. I know dad would be so happy to see others enjoy his old clothes, too.

I kept dad’s two most-loved items – his black slacks and striped long-sleeved shirt. That was a very memorable set of clothes for me because he wore those 5 years ago during my graduation. I can still recall his proud and happy face upon seeing me confidently walk up the stage to get my diploma and Cum Laude award. It was such a perfect moment that I look back to every now and then. The fond memories I have of him are enough to get me through the hard times.

Well I would say that photographers would miss half of their life if they were not able to come to the gallery. The pictures, almost all implied a lot of things. I like t-shirt designs that are funny and not offensive. I’m always wearing a t-shirt even in the middle of winter. I like designs that don’t say anything. I even like solid colors if the shirt is made of exceptional quality fabric. Fortunately I don’t work at a job where I have to wear a uniform or button down shirt. I can wear my favorite tees every day. I don’t like the lightweight cheap cotton of some shirts. I like the heavyweight cotton even in the summer. It’s tough to find quality like that at a good price. You might not think about it too much as far as the basic t-shirt goes but there is a wide variability in quality that is available. Take it from a guy who wear them every single day. I even wear them to church. We are casual dressers there anyway. I like that. It is a good thing. I found a lot of good Christian designs and can wear to share my faith too.
